My family had an awesome time at Paula's home. As a host, Paula was a great communicator, and even shared info on local events with us! The space was spotless, roomy, private, and filled with thoughtful touches. There were phone chargers in each room, super fast internet, an awesome selection of coffee/tea and wine left for us. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and everyone in my party got their own private space, which was awesome. The view was wonderful, and we got to see some deer and turkey walking through the woods. It was awesome to spend each night in front of a fire, and in a huge tub. I can't recommend this place more, and am already daydreaming about returning in the fall.

My wife and I loved spending quiet time so close to Galena. Three of our favorite features are the wood-burning fireplace, jacuzzi tub in the master bath, and the view of all the trees. These features and more made our winter getaway very memorable. We can't wait to come back another time to see the views when the outside landscape isn't quite so white. The kitchen and breakfast nook are spacious and well stocked. I loved the variety of tea and coffee available. Having an electric kettle in addition to a Keurig was a nice touch! And having a full bath in all the bedrooms is a nice touch for family trips. Did I mention we're looking forward to another visit?

This was such a nice getaway for our family. We felt like we were at a little chalet tucked away in the woods. We especially loved being able to hang out at the kitchen table by the big windows while watching our kids play in the snow outside. We also loved cozying up by the crackling fire with some board games. The vaulted ceilings make the house seem really big. The decor is very tasteful. Whirlpool was great after skiing and the large washer was very helpful. Location is fabulous with sledding at Eagle Ridge Highlands restaurant and just 23 mins to skiing at Chestnut Mountain. We can't wait to stay again!
